Are they jerks or not?

I joined an intramural flag football team at my university about two months ago and I tried to become friends with the people on the team (they're all a big group of friends), but they seem to constantly ignore me unless it would be obviously mean. The big problem is that on our last game of the season, somebody asked everyone to take a team picture, and I was still putting away my things, and they just took the picture without me, including some friends who weren't even on the team. I am pretty quiet, but it really feels like they are a bunch of SOB's and not that I'm new, quiet, and different. I joined the team because a girl I met invited me to, and I am also in a bible study with her and others from the group for the same reason. It's a Christian group of mostly Asians(Chinese, Korean, etc.). I am of mixed races, but basically I'm Arab-American. The thing is I don't really have any friends(except maybe the aforementioned girl) so I'm completely clueless and I'm wondering if I should quit somehow or continue being "in" the group and just try to wait and see if they acknowledge my existence.
