I need information on an old painting-the signature in the lower right hand corner is "WEBB".?

The painting shows a circa 1920's (?) woman and man on the beach in bathing suits. It looks like it could be an ad for toothpaste, the woman is smiling very brightly and the man is looking at her adoringly! I have pictures I can send if anyone has any ideas.
