I got a neat 5-dollar bill in my change, from series 1995, (last year of the clic design) should I keep it?

To bad you feel it is annoying to change the U.S. notes, for it is people like you that counterfeiters love. Get used to it for it will happen a lot more often. In fact there maybe a great change ahead in U.S. currency for the Treasury Department lost twice in court to a group of blind people that sued to have the currency either have Braille on it or have different denominations different sizes like a lot of countries. if the U.S. Supreme Court uphold the lower court we will have a big change. The note you have must be in crisp uncirculated to save for the next 20 years or so, if creased or worn spend it. The 1995 note was made well into 1999 when that series came out due to a signature change. Dates on notes are not the year printed but the year authorized or a signature change.
