What if my attorney sucks?

I have to show up for a sworn deposition next Wednesday. My attorney hasn't done much for me. We have a guardian ad litem, which is good, but I don't know what her stance is. Here's the deal: My ex husband has supervised visits. He has not had unsupervised visits since 2005. I moved to Ohio in 2005 to get away from the harment as well as create a more peaceful environment for the kids. I had to move back in 2007 for a multitude of reasons. I didn't want to move back, but had to. My kids are 10, 11, and 13. Our hearing is June 3. He also quit paying child support. I think he is planning to kidnap the children if he gets unsupervised visits. What can I do? What can I expect? I know I am under scrutiny because of moving. But why is it his business why I moved away or came back when he has nothing but abused them and I have tons of doentation from professionals and my own journaling. Oh yeah, he wants me to turn over all of my diaries to him. How is this fair?
